LOL Smartass! We were 13 days without electricity at my house and had to drive about 90 miles roundtrip for gas and ice for the first few days! The National Guard began handing out MRE's and ice but we still had to make the trip for gasoline. Wal-Mart finally opened here but we had to get in line by about 5 a.m. or else they ran out of gas. It really wasn't a fun time! It would've been worse if Parish President Kevin Davis not acted on behalf of the community by getting the info to us.
