I'm sure they (the County government) are not naive enough to think that if he's pulled from that one station, there won't be another ten lining up to get his show. Nor are they naive enough to think that the station in question is the only station in Broward County that is capable of broadcasting emergency information.
They may be trying to leverage Limbaugh's removal from that station, but to suggest that doing so equates to "silencing" him is idiotic. The guy never shuts up, and there will always be an outlet for him.
But, I guess the question that needs to be asked is this: Why should the government continue to provide information to a station which they have deep disagreements with? This seems, afterall, to be the position some would take, yet it makes about as much sense as the argument that the County government is trying to "silence" Limbaugh.
