Parody or not, it marks the point at which McCain's campaign took its biggest nosedive.
I couldn't imagine that any Presidential candidate could be so stupid as to engage in that joke in public. McCain deserved to be run off the stage for that case of very bad judgement given that it is to
independents that McCain originally owed his popularity and they are the ones most horrified by all the Iran-warmongering. They abandoned him in droves at that point and his campaign collapsed.
The little jerk comment is just proof that McCain is totally frustrated with his dead end campaign - he so wants to be President and just can't figure out how to do it. His campaign seems like it is already dead.
