Re: Article: Hillary Clinton: I Will Change Our Country

Called on to release nearly two million pages of documents located at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, AR., the Los Angeles Times reports that calendars, memos and reams of other records from the office of the first lady in the Clinton administration will stay off-limits to public scrutiny until after the 2008 presidential election, according to federal archivists at the Clinton presidential library.

In addition to the two million documents, there are also said to be more than 1,000 relating to Sen. Clinton’s efforts to enact Hillary-Care.

The library’s chief archivist does not expect the documents to be released until after the ’08 Presidential Election.

The documents detail her tenure as first lady and are said to contain memos, diaries, telephone logs, appointment logs, calendars, daily planners, and schedules.

What is Hillary hiding ? Why would these documents be held until AFTER the 2008 presidential election ?

Can you imagine some of the comments in those pages that Bill and Hillary consider to be obstacles to their returning to the White House ?

They're HIDING them from us, they can't be TOO nice.

Silence far from golden when a Prez wanna-be is afraid to talk the talk

...she goes to great lengths to make sure she doesn't get cornered.

Clinton, of course, is risk averse to a fault. She's got a big lead in the primary polls and probably can't be beat unless she beats herself. She greatly reduces the chances of that by avoiding anybody carrying a camera or a notebook.

Even after Bush's crucial prime-time address, when most candidates rushed to give their take, Clinton offered only a lackluster printed statement. And ditto for her response after GOP tag-teamers Rudy Giuliani and John McCain bashed her for attacking Petraeus and not rebuking the radical MoveOn.org for its smear of him.

To say the cat's got Hillary's tongue doesn't begin to address the mystery of why someone who wants to be President can't speak spontaneously more often. When the goin' gets tough, Clinton sends out a messenger or a carefully crafted printed statement. Would the imperial candidate be an imperial President? Is the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain?
