Irrelevant. The FDA has exclusive jurisdiction over medicine. States cannot override the FDA.

No, it's Completely relevant. The FDA Claims exclusive jurisdiction over medicine, but only has Legitimate juridiction over medicine involved in interstate commerce. Whether a local doctor prescribes marijuana to a local patient, or some entrpreneur grows it in their basement to sell to the neighborhood kids, it's none of the Feds' business. (Not that I endorse either, but that's the way the law's written.)
