People also pick and chose what they see as negative things about a religion. The killing of people working on the sabbath and the abomination of eating shellfish is described in the Old Testament, but both of these rules were changed by latter teachings of the New Testament. The New Testament is the most important part of the Christian Bible. It is wrong to critizise Christianity by refering to Old Testament rules that are no longer in effect thanks to the teachings in the New Testament.
