Hey all,

I've been a regular contributor to a couple other forums but I found that the politics and partisanship at them was unbearable. A friend recommended this place so here I am. So far I am pleased with the atmosphere and the level of discussion.

I am on route to becoming an academic economist but in life it seems things never happen as we expect them to. Regardless, I expect to be doing something related to economic for the rest of my life. I consider myself an applied microeconomic theorist

I am a fairly liberally minded person.
