hmmm, i don't know 'bout getting more members here, but i think i have an idear how to keep the ones who venture here for the first time, and keep'm hooked and returning.

when someone who be new finally posts a response, or starts their own thread, the heavy hitters (you know who you are, mateys, YARRRR!) on the sight ought to give them a thoughtful response.

i don't think anything is engaging, or compelling, as the honest exchange of ideas and a meaningful dialogue.

i know this probably isn't a realistic response to this thread, and it won't result in a sudden avalanche of peoples jumpin' onboard, but it will gain ye loyal folks, one person at a time.

anyways, thems me thoughts.
