I dont know either. All I know is that where I live, I could take you to places where 15 years ago, was under 100 foot of ice. Now there is vegetation growing.

I listen to the elders talk around here. The winters are arriving in AK much later than they have in thier lifetimes. The erosion from what used to be early winter storms where snow fell and ice built up on the coast lines. Are now fierce battering wind driven rain, as I am experiencing as I write this.

Where as even 15 years ago, I would go out trick or treating...it was done in at least knee deep snow. There hasnt been snow on the ground for halloween here since 2000.

I certainly know the earth is warming and doing it in a dramatic fashion in the last 25 years that hasnt been seen in the previous 100 years or longer. What is causing it, I dont know.

The evidence I have seen would make it certainly plausible that humans burning fossil fuels are having an effect in heating the planet. The most signifigant in my eyes. Comes from very simple people, who are very in touch with thier enviroment. Who have nothing to gain financially politically or otherwise and have seen enough in thier times on earth to know and see change over time.
