Norms of warfare? Do you like how I'm taking a few words from your post and then putting a question mark after them? I think it's going to be my new style of posting.

Anyways, during WWII, bombings and the destruction of civilians certainly was the norms of warfare. It's despicable on retrospect, sure, but I think to paint it as 'abnormal' is a bit dishonest.
