Unfortunately, a person's religius beliefs are valid factors to consider when electing a Presedent as their religous beliefs and values will likely drive their decision making regarding domestc and foreign policy. In Obama's case, if he has Islamic beliefs, it is a very valid factor to consider given that thie next President will spend a lot of time with foreign policy decisoions relating the Middle East Countries.

Personally, however, I am much more concerned ablout his lack of experience in a singular role of leadership. There is nothing like putting someone on the hot seat to educute them on transforming them from just an idealistic thinker to a person able to generate realistic plans and objectives.
