Re: What is wrong with Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is inspiring to listen to. He's unfiltered and candid. He's weathered but strong. Easily the most passionate candidate on either side. He's fed up with the federal gov't and he's sick and tired of the people who took his party and crashed it into the ditch. When you watch any of the debates, Paul looks like the professor of a civics lesson and the rest of the Republican candidates look like pupils who didn't read their assignments. Especially Romney and Giuliani, who act like idiots and snicker and laugh when they've been moderates their whole careers and are now having Neo-con implants inserted in their characters.

Ron Paul offends many of the people who are all team spirit and who either lack the capacity or the will to think things through. Going with the team is a mentality that's hard to break. They end up sticking with their party no matter how bad it gets because they're told they're traitors if they think anything different. Well that's bullshit. That's the stuff of fascism and dictators.

Lots of Americans can't even tell the difference between passion and negativity anymore. They will accuse Ron Paul of whining while the rest of us feel that Ron Paul is passionate because he wants his country to follow the Constitution again and is angered by the fact that so many in his party are just entirely willing to exchange due process for convenience and personal gain.

The only thing wrong with Ron Paul, I fear, is that many in both parties are so carried away by misguided team spirit that they forget about fundamental American values that are more important than party affiliation.

Keep giving them hell Ronnie!
