Yes, I agree. The other day, I was listening to a talk on our ABC radio, and in passing the commentator referred to the US elections. Of Barack Obama, he said, “He’s authentic”.
I don’t think any candidate can say precisely in advance how they will handle the major issues that confront us today, or may arise in the future. Although Obama’s lack of managerial experience is a valid point, it seems to me that on balance his other qualities make him a capable leader.
