I see this as a failure of parenting, not to teach our children about responsible alcohol use. I joined the service for my country in 1969, this was not an issue with our generation as the idea was if you were old enough to die in vietnam you were old enough to have a drink. I don't know that i feel much different now. I have a 21 year old son, he had parties in his teens and i supervised and removed all keys first and they all slept over. Funny benefit now is he really doesn't want to drink as he had a fair chance to make his own mind up after the facts. Push your will on somebody else and it guarantee's resistance.
