Be careful there. Some deniers are actually remarkably intelligent individuals (David Irving for one) but they use the denial as a tool to legitimize fascism. That is the true goal of nearly all deniers. They want a fascist society but know that it will never happen as long as the Holocaust is associated with it so they try to rewrite history and portray the Nazis in a more positive way.
