Don't you find it outrageous that you and the whole world have heard about the Night of the Long Knives that only killed a few hundred, but not one person in a thousand even recognizes the word "Dresden" or what took place there in Febuary 1945, after the German people had already been beaten to their knees ??
Hitler was faced with 2 million militant communists and other traitors in Germany, a country smaller than Texas, which was surrounded at the time on all sides by sworn enemy countries, and he had to take strong measures to establish order by ordering the "night of the long knives", that killed a mere 200-300 traitors.

What you call traitor sounds much like what I call somebody exercising free expression. I do in fact realize such atrocities also happened against the Germans. I do not deny that. The whole war was one big atrocity. Too bad a Nazi Germany had to aggressively invade other nations and start it. But having to worry about being killed because of my political convictions doesn't sound like a pleasant life to say the least.
