Im not a fast runner so thats outta the question. If I had the time I would fire a warning shot just to show them that I mean business. If that doesnt scare them away, then I would give them a serious case of led poisining. I dont think that I would feel bad about killing some worthless street punks/bullies - kinda like Charles Bronson in Death Wish.
