if those A bombs hadnt been dropped when they were Japan would have dug in for an invasion, considering the otherwise highly admirable code of duty they had , the cost in lives of an invasion would have been in the millions and more years of fighting.
sometimes it is better to make quick clean cuts and cauterize rather than have the patient bleed out and die .

As one sitting at Okinawa waiting to Invade Japan I wholeheartedly agree with dropping the "BOMB" (when it comes to push vs shove) I valued my hide more than theirs. OR if you don't agree "Yours Too".
