You need to start doing a lot of flying first class, staying in 7-star hotels, eating in 3-star (Michelin) restaurants and being handsomely paid for doing so to better understand certain facets of human motivation. After doing so for a few years and having same on your resume, would you teleconference rather than be enabled to discuss your industry, put forth your opinions, make friends and enemies and advance your career in person in Bali? Easy call for anyone who has ever worked for a living.
