I live in the US and talk to and correspond with a lot of people, the attitudes I spoke of are very common, no place did I say it applies to everyone who opposes the Kyoto Accords, in fact I didn't even mention Kyoto.
Americans have been the biggest dogs on the block for so long that we (as a nation) are extraordinarilly arrogant, smug, and self-satisfied.
I don't really know what point you were trying to make with your post, perhaps you could rephrase it and base your comments on what I actually wrote in my post.
