Obama is not a Muslim. His stepfather was. An ordinary everyday Muslim.
If people can't cope with that - well then maybe the US isn't the beacon of freedom and tolerance it likes to present itself as.
He certainly comes across as rational. It would be nice to see a rational leader 'of the free world'.

No I don't think the rep's will hammer away at Obama and Islamic linkage etc..thats stupid, its ridiculous for the reasons you stipulated and a loser..I would be turned off instantly.
And, IF Huck were to get the rep nod, I wouldn't expect the dems to bang away at his religious influences either...would we?
Or if its Romney hear about his Mormonism.....but I suspect the media, would not be able to help themselves ..and then we’ll see the penny drop.
