The nato units other than Canadians, Danes, Aussies are not engaged in the same type of behavior regards active patrolling etc..in fact they already have the reputation amongst the Taliban of not being very much to worry about regards offensive ops in their area….besides that, the danes contingent in Afghan, is 300 guys I believe and the aussies….uhmm 500? our numbers are so large I would expect it so, there have been other incidents…one with a Canadian team I believe..a while back…anyway.

I do agree, IF there is evidence that there was shots fired down a stretch a of road like that , there needs to be an inquiry etc…it doesn’t add up…
There are 5000 Brits patrolling areas with the heaviest concentration of poppy production in Afghanistan, literally surrounded by resistance, bandits, clan warfare, Taliban and I have yet to read of even one similar incident by UK troops in Afghanistan or for that matter Iraq. Something doesn't add up. Perhaps UK combat troops being more professional than civilian economically disadvantaged US volunteer forces?
