As much as I am on the "right" side of any gun control argument, I'm doubting CCW has much impact on the phenomenon of tourists getting whacked. I mean, the majority of the ones who were renting cars flew into the state. They certainly were not bringing their hardware with them.

Didn't they stop having big old stickers or particular license plates for rental vehicles in an attempt to not advertise the tourist schmucks were from out of state or something like that?
