Perhaps.
Inspiration and positive thinking are nice and can be vital at times, but they are no substitute for poor policy - or no policy at all.
There is a great deal of sugar syrup in Obama's campaign and very little meat at this point. In a national election, he will have to sell a lot more than sentimental syrup.
