there was a resolution of the assembly equating Zionism with racism:

one would have thought to reflect upon the fact that out of some 930,000 - 980,00 jews living in predominately muslim countries in '48 fewer than 3/10th of one percent remain, while in "palestine" there are some 10 times the number of "palestinian" arabs as when israel was created.

there were about 150,000 arabs in israel after the war of independence and today there are 1,500,000
and that reflection would have an effect upon the great U.N. polity. a not.
another observation that hints at a bias toward the arabs of palestine could be found in the institution called UNWRA which was set up to help the arab refugees of palestine.
one might say all refugees are equal in the eyes of the great U.N. but some refugees are more equal.
how interesting no words and no help about/for the jews living in arab lands for thousands of years at the great U.N. but countless resolutions supporting the palestinian refugee who by UNWRA's definition required two years residency and/or loss of livelihood. it needs to be noted that many in the ranks of palestinians refugee got that only because the great U.N.'s begging bowl was out.
another point of interest is the fact that the palestinian refugees is in the unique position of having a heritable status that can be married into!
in the light of such information i have to challenge the neutrality of the great U.N. on matters of the arab/israeli conflict.
