I think Obama can use race, to a certain extent, to bolster his credibility for certain issues. Blacks still face economic hurdles in our society that have yet to be solved by either party to date.

The Democrats still have not completely ended welfare, as we know it, in a market friendly manner that can eventually reduce our tax burden while eliminating official poverty in the process.
