Re: Obama's Incredible Denial Concerning His Pastor
Wait OK. Why does this mean he's not going to be a good president. Can anyone who's so in an uproar over this explain? No one seems to want to talk about Obama's plans for the economy, the exti strategy for Iraq or any of those things. Isnt this kind of silly nit picking exactly whats allowed the Bush administration to be victorious. Why can't people talk about the issues that effect Americans. The statements of Wright aren't causing the subprime mortgage crisis nor are they causing inflation, nor have they impacted our dependence on foreign oil. Do people forget that we're supposed to be voting in someone who has plans to address these issues and not a religious advisor? I really don't get it.

Yesterday, John McCain actually said that if he’s president he’ll take on, and I quote, 'the old boys’ network in Washington.' I’m not making this up. This is somebody been in Congress for 26 years, who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign. And now he tells us that he’s the one who’s gonna take on the old boys' network,” he said. “In the McCain campaign that’s called a staff meeting!- Obama, 9/17/2008
