Ron Paul certainly did not get away with the alleged "racist" comments someone published in his past newsletters nor did he get away with accepting a donation from Stormfronter Don Black.

In the world of the democrats it appears that the only time a candidates racial scandals should be ignored in favour of "issues" is when the candidate is black and affiliates with black nationalist institutions! Geez, talk about racist double-standards!
D.I.T.T.O. but you forgot to mention just one thing. Obama has stated many times that the inspiration of his book,--came from his Pastor Wright.

This is not some loud-mouthed uncle that jumps out of the closet every now & then, this is a man whom he respects & admires.

You are so right to mention what if a white candidate had gone to a white racist church. Look at what we've witnessed over the last couple of months.

Bill Clinton simply mentioning Jessie Jackson's name as winning a state in the south is considered a "racist comment".

Bill O'Reilly in an off the cuff statement, that is used frequently by everyone--"lynch mob", is now considered a racist. And on & on it goes.

Yet, we are to believe Barack Obama as being the person who can unite black & white, yet he has been a 20 year member of a black racist seperatist church.

If this was a white candidate, the party either the RNC or DNC would have already demanded his/her candidacy as ineligible to run for the Presidency of the United States.
