As explained by Obama, Rev Wright is "family." Y'all. You don't throw one of your own under the bus - that's the pundit's job. You stand by your friend/family. Even if you, deep down, don't want to.

I can no more fault Obama on this than George HW Bush for not criticizing his son's poor performance; or Hillary for not calling for Bill to resign after the scandal; or McCain for encouraging the worst president in USA history.

As far as I know, this is a non-issue.
