The link you offered in the OP is entire bullshit.

It appraises the documentary inaccurately. No where in the documentary do they claim or try to prove Al Qaida did not exist. They merely question the authenticity of the threat they posed and the way that the Bush administration blew Al Qaida out of proportion in almost every way.

I think the existence / non-existence argument is a non starter since the BBC documentary never brought it up. The original headline from www . polidics.com was essentially a mischaracteriztion... a shameless troll intended to get "diggs" for their site.
