Unfortunately, we live in a day and age where people put their colonoscopies on YouTube.

The fact that we'd even WANT to know, is distressing. I think the ravenous, public press meat grinder is what prevents really good candidates from running, therefore sticking us with what we have now.

Unless a candidate has something debilitating, I don't think we have any "right" to know. Freedom of the Press/Information is all well and good, but the Freedom To Have A Little Class And Respect is severely underused.
