This BTW is the Iranian's argument for why they need nuclear power, because oil is going to be too expensive to burn, they expect oil to settle out at around $500/barrel, which is still cheap for use as a chemical feedstock.
In the meantime, they know oil isn't a renewable resource, so they want to leave some for their descendants.
