Now,I want to know, do you considered the Dalai Lama as a Political Leader or a Religious Leader ?
If you choose the first one.......please tell me.
If you choose the second one, then why can't Tibet be autonmy without Dalai Lama?

Based on my limited knowledge of Dalai Lama, I would say that he is a bit of both, political and religious.
Theoretically, Tibet can be autonomous without Dalai Lama, but not on account of difficulties with Chinese gov't, but rather on account of desire of Tibetan people. But if it is the desire of tibetan people that Dalai Lama be their leader, either political or religious, then autonomy dictates that that desire be respected, no?
