Re: An old news -- UN sees rice prices easing

First of all, I want to point out that it is not the west's responsibility to maintain proper nourishment to the world. My gouvernment only has the responsibilty to maintain good nourishment for my own people.
Second: There are very, very few nations in the world who are incapable of providing proper nourishment to their people because of the land the people live on. Most nations which have problems feeding their population have this problems due to their populations lack of the very basic agricultural expertise. And/Or because the nation prefers producing agricultural export goods over providing food for their population.
Third: Living on the same planet all those people are starving, and belonging to the same biological race, I would like to see the UN helping those starving nations by helping their gouvernments initiating the right reforms, as well as providing basic agricultultural education for the common farmers there.
