We fecked up a lot of the ex-colonies TBH-we ran out of funds in the 60s and just hauled out. I'm not sure what happened with Burma but I'm presuming that we set up a tenious, pro-british goverment and it got overthrown by the military-either that or we set up a weak democratic gov.

When you look at a list of ex-British colonies you can see we didn't cover ourselves with glory-and now we're tring to make up for that.
