I'll take your word for it, but it's going to be kinda hard to believe you if you keep claiming that Obama is "anything but naive in politics".
When you ignore the obvious it's hard not to be taken for a cheerleader.
The man is clearly one the most naive and amateur upper-tier politicians this country has seen in a long time and he's very lucky his campaign hasn't imploded yet.
But, he's dynamic, charismatic, elequent, doesn't have much of an official voting record (and what does exist has been pretty much party-line against the legislative agenda of the most unpopular president since Harry Truman), and he's been able to get out the black and youth votes like nobody's business.
He has plently going for him. So much so that I actually voted Democrat (and for him) in the primary for the first time in my life.
But a lack of naïveté can hardly be considered one of his strong points.
