That's the problem.

Neither of them wants to stop killing the other.

So they'll keep fighting till one of them does.

Does anyone really think that George W. Bush had even a remote chance of actually authoring a successful roadmap to peace in the Middle East? Anyone actually under the impression that that could somehow have been the cornerstone of his legacy?

It would have been nice. It would have offset Iraq, the torture, Katrina, etc... a little bit.

But it isn't realistic.

Personally I don't think Obama has a prayer ending the Middle East conflict either. Or anyone else I can think of.

They'll stop fighting when they're done.
