I'm not particularly fond of O'Reilly, but, seriously, for you to arrive that that conclusion displays that you could not have possibly actually watched the show much, at all.
It is not a "news program" nor does it pretend to be.
The Factor is an "opinion program" centered around "news items". It is clearly presented as such.
This is a hell of a lot more honest than, say, any of the three broadcast networks' 6:30pm "news" programs, which truly are similar to what you describe..."opinion journalism masquerading as news coverage".
Along the same lines, I have very little "problem" with the NYT leftist opinion columnists and what they say - at least when it is on the
editorial page(s). It is when they stock the above-the-fold front page with misleading headlines and "news" stories rife with bias that I have a problem.
