If you forget all Bushes and his administration propaganda crap and consider present situation on ground it is obvious that Iraq is definitely becoming another Islamic republic, worse then Iran.
The arrangement between Bushes petrol corporate oligarchs and the Iraqis Islamic militants was very simple: “ Gives us oil and you will get you Islamic republic ” and that all is happening on expense of Iraqi and American people.
Primarily because of war in Iraq American economy is weakening and American people are getting poorer, every day losing their young lives in the war, their standard of living, jobs and houses at home.
On the other hand majority of Iraqi people already have lost everything: personal lives, all possessions and the basic human freedoms taken both from foreign invaders and radical Islamists.

Under Sadam’s secular regime Iraqi women had guaranteed all equal rights as men at least the same as in the west.
'Under the previous dictator regime, the basic rights for women were enshrined in the constitution,'' Houzan Mahmoud from the Organisation of Women's Freedom in Iraq told IPS in an interview. The group is a sister organization of MADRE, an international women's rights group.
Under Saddam, she said, ''women could go out to work, university and get married or divorced in civil courts. But at the moment women have lost almost all their rights and are being pushed back into the corner of their house.'' (Quote IRAQ: Saddam Better for Women )

Today they are killed if they drive car, walk on the street without wearing the hijab or try to expose themselves working as professionals in public places.

The recent constitution which was written under the U.S. government's supervision is ''very backward and anti-women,'' Mahmoud said. ''They make Islam the source for law making, and the main official religion of the country. This in itself means Islamic Sharia law and according to this women will be considered second-class citizens and will have no power in deciding over their lives.''
The whole of Iraqi society has been subjected to ''chaos and brutalisation,'' she said. ''Security is absent, all basic services, and above all the protection for women's rights is in no way on the agenda of any of the political parties who have been hand-picked by the U.S. administration in the installed so-called parliament.''

"Militiamen approached us to tell us we must wear the hijab and stop wearing make-up," college student Zahra Alwan who fled Basra to Baghdad told IPS last December.
Graffiti in red on walls across Basra warns women against wearing make-up and stepping out without covering their bodies from head to toe, Alwan said.
"The situation in Baghdad is not very different," Mazin Abdul Jabbar, social researcher at Baghdad University told IPS. "All universities are controlled by Islamic militiamen who harass female students all the time with religious restrictions."

Jabbar said this is one reason that "many families have stopped sending their daughters to high schools and colleges."

In early 2007 Iraq's Ministry of Education found that more than 70 percent of girls and young women no longer attend school or college.

Several women victims have been accused of being "bad" before they were abducted, residents have told IPS in Baghdad. Most women who are abducted are later found dead.

The bodies of several have been found in garbage dumps, showing signs of rape and torture. Many bodies had a note attached saying the woman was "bad", according to residents who did not give their names to IPS.

The largest refuge group escaping Iraq are Iraqi Christians unprotected and constantly attacked by Islamic extremists.

And all of this is happening under blessing of American occupiers who need more and more oil.
Most, if not all, of the Islamic Shiite groups have in common with is the Muslim Brotherhood. It was this organization, started in 1928 in Egypt, that is the root of the ME conflicts we have now. And it has been this group, not Israel, that have been the most violent, oppressive, and brutal organizations least known to the world. It is a secreative orgainziation that both sides, the West and Communist Bloc coutnries have tried to reign in on their side. But each time, they have managed, if not propagated, their own agenda that is very dreary, to say the least.

Laca, you seriously need to learn history.
