74% of Americans, according to this poll, believe there was a government cover up of the assassination of this countries president.
20% of Americans can't find the US on a map.
Fewer than 1/3 can identify DNA as a key to heredity.
10% know what radiation is.
20% think that the sun revolves around the Earth.

How does what Americans think prove anything?
