So, I guess I will post some more info, just in case anyone might be interested.
A good documentary on OBE from Pennsylvania.

This documentary is great. It shows how conformity is what is taught in our schools today. Conformity, also known as collectivism.
So, where did the idea to teach collectivism come from?
Well, it came from John Dewey of course.
John Dewey stated in 1899: "Children who know how to think for themselves spoil the harmony of the collective society which is coming where everyone is interdependent."
Dewey also wrote...
"I believe, therefore, that the true center of correlation on the school subjects is not science, nor literature, nor history, nor geography, but the child's own social activities.”

So, how did collectivism get into our school policies?
Once again we go to Norman Dodd.........
This group of twenty historians(hired by the foundations) eventually formed the nucleus of the
American Historical Association. Then toward the end of the 1920’s the Endowment grants to the American Historical Association $400,000 [a huge amount of money in those days] for a study of history in a manner that points to what this country can look forward to in the future. That culminates in a seven-volume study, the last volume of which is a summary of the contents of the other six. And the essence of the last volume is, the future of this country belongs to collectivism, administered with characteristic American efficiency.
INDIVIDUALISM VERSUS COLLECTIVISM
Consider the following from an article called “Global Framework for Local Education” from Holistic Education Review (Spring 1991), by Joel Beversluis. This passage is excerpted from “The Myth of a Competitive World-Class Education”, which appeared in Free World Research Report in May 1993 and was written by Marla Quenzer and Sarah Leslie:
He states "that educational objectives [should] transcend the accumulation of facts, the learning of skills, and even the preparation for work and life in the world as it is. Rather, at its best, education will assist, like a midwife, in the transformation of the mindsets—the consciousness—of students....”
Beversluis asks, “Is it not time for the community of educators and educational publishers to recognize that the respectful study of diverse cosmologies, value systems, and religions has a legitimate and even necessary place in the curriculum?” He then proceeds to list these new “global” values....
"Just what values are being talked about? This turns out to be the pivotal question. Beversluis spells it out for us. He lists as negative values: “individualism, nationalism, free enterprise, unlimited growth and progress, and competitive achievement.” The values he lists as positive are “interdependence, diversity, cooperation, equilibrium, and limits.”
Individualism Versus Collectivism – The Threat of Collectivism in U.S. Schools
Here are excerpts from an extensive commentary on public education, made in March, 1958, by Vice Admiral Hyman G. Rickover (often called the "father of the atomic submarine"):
"The chronic shortage of good scientists, engineers and other professionals which plagues us is the result of time wasted in public schools which must be made up later on."
"(America is) reaping the consequences of the destruction of traditional education by the Dewey-Kilpatrick experimentalist philosophy.
In May, 1962, the U. S. office of Education published EDUCATION FOR FREEDOM AND WORLD UNDERSTANDING. On page 23, the "Long Range Objective" of American education is stated:
"Our fundamental goal is a progressive nation in a peaceful world... Achieving this objective demands understanding of and commitment to the proposition that education is a primary instrument for social advancement and human welfare."

Last, I will end with a 2 part piece from one of the best living researchers on the planet. His name is Dr. Dennis Cuddy.
Dr. Cuddy has condensed a lot of information into a relatively short piece.

A tiny excerpt..........
The word, "moulded," is instructive because in THE WORLD'S WORK (August 1912), one reads "The Country School of Tomorrow" by GEB chairman Frederick Gates, declaring: "In our dreams, we have limitless resources, and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hands." Not only was the GEB to be used for social control, but the Rockefeller Foundation as well.
On April 11, 1933, its president , Max Mason, assured trustees that in their program, " the Social Sciences will concern themselves with the rationalization of social control... the control of human behavior." And in July of the very next year (1934), Willard Givens (executive secretary of the National Education Association 1935-1952) declared: " A dying laissez-faire must be completely destroyed and all of us, including the 'owners,' must be subjected to a large degree of social control....An equitable distribution of income will be sought."
