I consider myself a German Europrean and I feel a certain pride when I see the European Unions flag. I feel this way not so much because of what the European Union is today, but for the long way it has come so far and for what it could and hopefully will become.

I fear that party politics and election campaign retorics combined with short sighted politicians is slowing the European integration down...

Hopefully the looming global & domestic chalenges (Climate Change, equalizing the EU living standart, Energy Supply, Food & Water Supply,...) will bring this Continent even closer together.

The EU is already the biggest trade block of the world and home of many market and technology leaders...
As the Age of the US Hegemony is ending and a multipolar world is forming, Europe will hopefully jump over the burdens of nationalism and take a United Position as one of the leading Factions...
I will be glad to see an united EU!Please accept my benediction!
