Rolling back tax-cuts for big corporations will do one thing........send more and more jobs overseas.
Big corporations got big by maximizing their profits. They always look at the bottom line first because they usually have stockholders interested in seeing their investments grow. If it stops growing they sell and buy stocks elsewhere that are growing.
The quickest way to increase profits is cut wages. Wages are usually 30% of their expenses. Rolling back tax-cuts, which is just a tax-increase, will cause them to cut expenses......thus jobs will be sent overseas. The companies that are big enough to afford to send some of their production overseas will do so. The companies that can't afford to will falter and even go out of business. Eventually jobs are lost.
Democrats are concerned about their image as being compassionate. That is why they foster this image of sticking up for the average worker by raising minimum-wage and demonizing big corporations. Really all they're doing is making America unfriendly to big business or business in general. They run businesses out of the country with their high taxes and government regulations and cost all of us job opportunities. Less people working means less people buying goods and services which costs even more job loss. Less and less people earning means less taxes are paid. But the Dems have to make up that loss by putting more burden on those who are working. How long can this go on until the people that do the work and pay the taxes say enough is enough.

That is exactly why I am not a democrat. I am an independent because I cant stand the fanatical ideas the parties put into play. On the one side you have the democrats who seem to live in a reality where Americans being unemployed is good. And on the other you have the GOP which sends us to war in Iraq with the worst stategy in history. Frankly we could have won that war if our president hadn't pushed us into it so quickly. Even now with the right strategy we could subdue the population and get out. However the government refuses to take the necessary steps to withdraw our exhausted troops. Too many Americans are on their third or fourth tour of Iraq. This is why Bloomberg should be president. An independent not willing to indulge either sides fanatiscm is exactly what this country needs.
