Bloomberg seems more Liberal then anything
I agree but frankly he's as close as we can get right now. Any and all other independents are frankly unknown to the majority of Americans. However Bloomberg is the mayor of one of the biggest cities in the world. He is loved by the state of New York and would have been my choice for president all those months ago. Unfortunately it's too late now.

Two reasons Democrats don't feel the need to solve problems.

1. It takes voters out of their party and puts them under the Republicans umbrella. So fixing problems is bad for Democrats. Screwing everything up seems to help them.

2. Because they have a press willing to help them and cover for them they have no incentive to fix anything. As long as they can get away with sabotaging the economy and scaring the hell out of people this all works for them.
I think that the Democrats are trying to solve problems. But they are inhibited by trying to adhere to their parties ideals. Their solutions for most things aren't the intellegent solutions but the ones they think will gain them party support. The Republicans have the same problem but I happen to think their solutions are generally more intellegent than the Democrats. However I remain firmly independent because both parties are trying to take over the government not solve its problems
