Actually it is neither me nor you that deserves any credit for this theory. That honor goes to James Lovelock. That's his baby. He proposed it decades ago, he was promptly ridiculed for it by the scientific establishment at the time, and now it is the foundation of the earth and atmospheric sciences. Isn't that how it always goes......?
