please the David accords are well, wasn't exactly catching lightning in the bottle.....sadat had already had folks talking to Israel (without carter even knowing it after becoming frustrated with the Americans) and we had little to do with his visit to Israel. I give carter credit for following through, but Egypt’s performance in 73 made this all possible.
