Mudwhistle it was actually a slip of the tongue, I didn't go thru Kuwait from Saudi into Iraq the same night, but big deal. I was there, that's the point.
Funny thing though about exaggerating some of my stories about that place have grown in the years. That's funny you used that particular word.
Oh and I don't recall any wind. I honestly think that those fires were just that hot. And something else I remember. There was some sort of scare about the fumes from those fires having negative affects on soldiers.
