My sentiments exactly. It is a load of crap to blame a game for one's actions. When I was teenager I played Mortal Kombat series, Doom and a whole bunch of other violent video game as well as millions of other teenagers by yet we did not have millions of teenagers committing crimes inspired from the games we played. And I am pretty sure these teenagers are not the only ones playing GTA4,there are probably millions of other teens playing these games but yet they are not out committing armed robbery or any other crimes.
I do believe the parents should show judgment in getting games for their children. Most parents with common sense would not go the store and buy their kids porn and booze. So the same kind of common sense should apply to video games, music, books and many other things with ratings, warnings and etc on them.
