Where's the proof his stay at the mental hospital was not reported? I've never heard that. I think the problem is that the background checks are not sufficient.

We give drivers written and driving tests.

There is no test to buy a gun.

There should be mandatory gun safety classes and a written and shooting test. There should be deep criminal and mental background checks and even a psychiatric test BEFORE a person should be allowed to buy a gun.

No more of this 15 minute background check, buy a gun the same day you walk into the store.

It's insane. Why would anyone be against all this? Only law abiding sane citizens should be able to buy guns!
