As we all know 3 purple hearts & you're out of Viet Nam. Kerry managed to exit Viet Nam 3 months after he got there, which is highly unusual.

Because of its over two hundred members only one even served with Kerry on his boat and the rest never even meet him. The remainder of the crew that did serve with and knew Kerry deny the claims of the swiftboaters.
He didn't have to release the medical records - duh. He received a piece of shrapnel in his arm that was removed from medic J. C. Carreon who applied bacitracin and a bandage while Kerry was eager to get back into action.
So the Swiftys are crying that Kerry is no war hero because they think he wasn't wounded enough. The fact is - these swifty's who didn't even know Kerry don't think he's republican enough to be a war hero, or a President.
Kerry didn't ask for the Purple Heart - It was awarded to him. Duh
Try to sleep well at night ignorant ones.
